Signal Processing Projects

Examples on Project Areas

System for Analysis of Speech Signals
The analysis uses a Fast Fourier Transform (FFT). During the analysis the properties of the speech signal are analyzed, modified and based on that the speech signal is reconstructed. These methods can be used for noise reduction of speech signals.

Adaptive Signal Processing
Adaptive signal processing is used for designing filtering methods, which are dependent of the received signals. The methods within this are are widely used in speech coding/recognition, communication systems, wireless systems, medical measurement systems, etc. The project starts by studying linear prediction, the Levinson-Durbin algorithm, properties of stationary stochastic signals, the LMS adaptive filter, and its application in echo cancellation, and noise reduction. The examples are verifyed in the programming language Matlab.

Other Examples F.inst.
Indoor positioning of mobile units, analysis of medical signals, or examples you might have special interest in.
