Advisory panels
The IT University has two advisory panels, an
Employers' Panel and a
Foresight Panel.
They help us ensure that our teaching and research takes place in a continued dynamic cooperation with the surrounding world:
- Our teaching and the academic content must be at the highest possible level. The students must obtain relevant competences making them attractive to the labour market. And the studies must attract many well-qualified students
- Our research must always be motivated by both the search for new fundamental insight and the applicability of the research
The Employers' Panel
The Employers' Panel advises the Vice Chancellor and the Head of Studies on the quality and relevance of our study programmes.
The Panel offers input on the it-competences and -profiles needed in the short and long run. On the experiences, opportunities and needs of different sectors and organisations.

The Foresight Panel advises the Board of Directors on future strategic needs and opportunities primarily within research.
The panel might e.g. suggest upcomming research areas that might be of interest to the IT-University. Or new ways of cooperating with the private sector.
