IT University Value Statement
As part of the organizational development, the management at the IT University has found it useful and important to define the university core values in a Value Statement. The values that characterize the IT University are:
- Direction-finding
- Forthcoming
- Accountable
In the Value Statement one can read about how the values should be understood and how they will be incorporated.
The Value Statement is founded in a Culture Study, which was carried out among employees at the IT University during 2002. On the basis of the shared core values and the understanding that has been formulated during the process, the management has subsequently compiled the Value Statement mentioned above. The Statement was finally adopted at a management meeting on August 27, 2003.
The purpose of the Value Statement is to serve as a guideline for the daily work at the IT University. The values will e.g. be visible in relation to what you can expect of the university as external partner, how you can and should act as an employee at the IT University, what you as an IT University student will be part of at the university, etc.
