A picture of me in Copenhagen I am a second year PhD student in the Software Development Group at the IT University of Copenhagen (ITU). My research considers the intersection of real world problems, artificial intelligence and optimization. I am a member of the ENERPLAN project, which seeks to optimize container shipping routing networks, making them more efficient and eco-friendly. I am also a member of the Decision Optimization Lab along with my advisor Prof. Rune Møller Jensen.

Before coming to Copenhagen I received a Masters of Science from Brown University in computer science. I worked with Prof. Meinolf Sellmann researching parameter tuning and genetic algorithms. More details are available in my past projects and publications.

I come from Block Island, Rhode Island, a tourist destination in the northeast of the United States known for its long, pristine beaches, tasty quahogs and wild ferry rides.
