Tarik Hadzic, Ph.D. student

This is my old webpage. I am currently a research scientist at Cork Constraint Computation Centre .

Short Biography:

I am a former PhD-student at the IT-University of Copenhagen supervised by Henrik Reif Andersen. I became a MSc in Information Technology at ITU in September 2005 (weighted grade average: 11.13). In 2003 I was rewarded a Bachelor of Science degree from Faculty of Science at the University of Sarajevo (major in: "Mathematics and theoretical computer science") where I graduated as a student of generation. I have participated in a number of National and International Mathematical and programming competitions, including a 1998 International Mathematical Olympiad at Taipei (Taiwan) where I was rewarded a silver medal.

Research:

I am interested in Configuration Problems, Constraint Satisfaction, Binary Decision Diagrams, (Integer) Linear Optimization, Artificial Intelligence, and hybrid approaches combining BDDs with constraint satisfaction and optimization. I was a member of a CLA research group at ITU and a FIRST graduate school. To see the list of my publications click here.
