ABOUT THE AUTHOR

My name is Susana Pajares Tosca and these educational hypertexts are an experimental addition to my PhD thesis Applications of Hypertext to the Study of Literature, defended at the Complutense University of Madrid last October. Thanks for participating! :-)

I am now Assistant Professor at the IT University of Copenhaguen, you can see my website here.

Most of my talks and publications have been on hypertext, literature, computer games or cyberculture both in Spain and abroad. I have served in various international conferences program committees, including the ACM Hypertext conferences, the AACE Webnet conferences, and the Digital Art and Culture conference. As the editor of Hipertulia, I have collaborated in the first Spanish digital literary magazine, Especulo, since its appearance in 1995. I have recently been appointed Hypertext Theme Editor in the Journal of Digital Information hosted by the University of Southampton. In 2000, I received the ACM Ted Nelson Newcomer Award for my paper "A Pragmatics of Links".
