Maiken Nysom, former ITU student, explains a location based game that she has designed for the open air museum “Frilandsmuseet”. The Inc group expirienced the game, named “The land of oppertunities“. Each group played a character while walking around in the old farmland to collect money, talents and social connections. The stories were really engaging and soon we were completely taken by the narratives. Except from two of our Ph.D. students, Sune and Søren, who got so absorbed by the technical details of the interface that they ended up tracing their own digital footsteps on the GPS. The game is hereby highly recommended. Watch this Youtube video to see the game live (sorry for us speaking Danish only).
