Mobile voting and mobile data collection: Mobile applications in DR.

Jacob Lyng Weiland from DR Medier will present to different approaches to using the mobile phones in DR. The first case presents how children, during a children’s TV-broadcast in 2008, used a new interactive tool to cast votes and write comments to the show. The case both deals with HCI issues and interaction experience. The second case is a presentation of how DR used the mobile phone to measure experienced audience quality in regards to an entertainment broadcast in autumn 2008. The study compares the methodical differences and user issues between the PC and the mobile phone as tools to gather audience understanding of the broadcasts quality.
