This is Kasper Østerbye's home page.

I am a associate professor at the IT University in Copenhagen. I am within the software development group. My primary research interest at the moment is industrial software production. This encompasses both analysis as in Product Line Architectures and in the more technical issues of software generation and flexibility. I am also interested in object-oriented programming languages, aspect-oriented programming, and domain-specific languages.

PhD students:

Graduated PhD students

In Spring 2007 we had Renate Kristiansen as a visiting PhD student from Norwegian University of Science and Technology

We were organizing a workshop on the REA (Resources, Events and Agents) meta model in April 2004.

Teaching

From spring 2004 to spring 2005I taught object-oriented programming.

From fall 2005 I will teach advanced object oriented programming.

I co-organized Design and Techniques to make Software Adaptable together with Yvonne Dittrich.

Masters thesis and smaller project proposals.

Notice that I will normally not be able to supervise single students. If you make up a group of 3 or more students, it is much more interesting.

Getting scientific papers at ITU

ITU has a number of little known library functions.
