Demonstrate that modern web technologies can provide an attractive market place for suggesting and finding project proposals.
Implement an AJAX based web site for project proposals that is so good that it will attract all students and supervisors of ITU.
Analyse the problem of matching students abilities and desires to the project ideas of the supervisors: What functionalities will attract students, what functionalities will attract supervisors? What user interface problems must be avoided? Should it have a mobile interface? Should it be able to screen-scrape from existing project proposal web pages? What fields should describe a project? What fields should describe supervisors? Should supervisor photos and other images be included? Should there be a virtual noticeboard for students to find project mates? Etc., etc.
It is vital that the interface is so easy and useful that students and supervisors will be attracted and use it of their own free will. Think Facebook. Think Google Search.
Design and implement the site, using PHP, AJAX and SQL (or similar).
