2018 Copernicus Satellite Hackathon
The IT University of Copenhagen and the Ministry of Higher Education and Science will host the Copernicus Satellite Hackathon.
This event is focused on satellite data-based web apps, and will be held at the ITU Design Lab on November 23 and 24 2018.
There is no predefined topics for the hackathon, and groups of students are encouraged to develop innovative web app concepts in the domain of their choice.
The Hackathon starts Friday at 4pm with talks followed by pizza, soda and beer. On Saturday, students get guidance and feedback on their concepts and prototypes. At 3pm gets a 3 min. presentation.
The jury and the peoples voice pick a winner who will receive 5000 dkk, and two runner-ups who will get 2500 dkk.
The hackathon is limited to 50 participants from all Danish universities. So don't forget to sign up through the link.
