Amazon Web Service

Monday 17 November, 10:00-12:00
The IT University, Rued Langgaards Vej 7, DK-2300 KMD Auditorium 2

Cloud computing is a new paradigm of building businesses on the web. AWS (Amazon Web Services) are on-demand services, accessible via APIs, and they can scale accordingly to customers' needs, paying only what you use. These services will be presented by Simone Brunozzi, Amazon Web Services Evangelist for Europe.

After introducing concepts and key ideas behind Cloud Computing, the talk will provide details about AWS, and some success stories from our customers. The main services will be covered: S3, the storage service, EC2, the on demand computing platform, as well as SQS and SimpleDB. The talk will end with a Q&A session with the attendees.
