FAQ: Torres game

  • How many rounds are being played?

    15, which means 30 indvidual moves.

  • Can you place knights on your opponents castle?

    Not initially, but during the game, of course.

  • When you place a knight, you say that it must be next to an existing knight. Must it be one of your own? Or can it be one of your opponents?

    It must be one of your own.

  • Do you earn points after each move, or are points only tallied given the final state of the board?

    Given the final state of the board.

  • Can you place a tile under a knight?

    No.

  • Can you place knights on the board, that is, not on a tile?

    Yes.

  • I'm not sure I understand the scoring.if I had two towers on the board, (adjacent) one of height two,and one of height one, each with a knight on it. What is my score? Is it 2 knights * 2 tiles (area) *2 (maximal height) = 8. Or is it something else? 6 = 1 (first knight) * 2 tiles (area) * 2 (height of knight) + 1 (second knight) * 2 tiles (area) * 1 (height of knight) ?

    6. You count per knight.

  • How many points per credit do you receive at the end of the game?

    With credit you mean unused move? 1 point.

  • If you can place a kjnight on opponents castle, can you build on opponents castle?

    Of course.
