Please read chapter IV. The Illusions, Synthetic Realism and its Discontents, p.168-177 from The Language of New Media (PDF file) by Lev Makovich. This is the later version of chapter 2 from the text book, A Reader in Animation Studies.

Hand_in:

1. Mandatory_Ex1, movie file of the butterfly in AVI file format, 320x240, PAL frame rate.
2. Mandatory:  Turn in Text file of the Good/bad animation in Beowulf , yourname_beowulf.doc + Minimum 2 different exam project concepts with simple synopsis.
3. Ball Man: JPEG image of the ball man you built. 320X240.
