Welcome to the course home page for "Software Products". The purpose of the course is to give students a fundamental insight in the dynamics of modern software product development. The course focuses on rapid marked driven product cycles and their associated technical methods. A detailed description of the course can be found here.

  • 18/6/2004: Please fo not use power point for the exam for your presentation. Use regular slides.
  • 11/6/2004: The exam is on June 21. Please check the schedule.
  • 28/4/2004: Due to technical problems in the course base the official syllabus of ISWP can be down loaded here. Please follow the link Curriculum.pdf.
  • 5/4/2004: The official syllabus (pensum) of ISWP, Spring 2004, is: Hohmann, L. Beyond Software Architecture - Creating and Sustaining Winning Solutions, Addison-Wesley, 2003, all pages included.
  • 8/3/2004: ISWP Students that did not participate in the tutorial to day please contact Jan to be assigned a production task. Please notice that a production task assignment is mandatory to qualify for the course exam.
  • 27/2/2004: Please prepare the meeting on Monday by making your material available on CVS before Sunday at 18:00 and by down loading and reading material from other groups. We will meet in room 2.55. There will be a projector available.
  • 16/2/2004: Please post information on our new project web site and CVS space /import/stud/share/projekter_f2004/ISWPF04.
  • 2/2/2004: To students, who didn't follow todays lecture: extra text copies have been placed in the course pigeonhole on first floor.
  • 22/1/2004: The official start date of the course is Monday 2/2. Lecture takes place in room 2.63 from 9:00 to 12:00. There is no tutorial during the intro week.

Information to Guest Presenters and Teachers

An astrobeam X 110 XGA video projector (projector number 6) has been reserved for each class in the period 8:00 to 13:00. Extra text copies can be places in the course pigeonhole on first floor. Guest presenter, please contact your host, if you need further equipment. The front door of ITU opens at 8:00 on work days. The reception is open from 9:00. Newsgroup and Mailing List

Please post questions to the ISWP news group (it-c.courses.ISWP) such that others might read the answer to your question as well. Feel free to answer each other students questions and comment on messages. The news group is your discussion forum. Sending and receiving news messages is very similar to sending and receiving emails. Ask SysAdm for help if you don't know how to setup your mail program for reading news. The ISWP mailing list is ISWPF2004_stud@itu.dk.
