This is the homepage for the 15 ECTS GSD 2013 fall semester course at the IT University of Copenhagen.

This year, students will be split into two tracks:

The GSD/Kenya track where 10 students will do projects with Strathmore University in Kenya; and
The GSD/ETHZ track where 80 students will do projects under ETH Zürich (ETHZ)'s DOSE setup.

Intended Learning Outcomes:

Product (70%):

Design a system
Implement the designed system
Apply scientific methods and techniques
Evaluate the resulting system
Relate to existing systems, methods, and techniques

Process (30%):

Develop and maintain a plan for the collaboration
Reflect continually on the collaboration

Exam:

The exam is a 30 minutes individual exam based on a group report-with-shared-responsibility. Assessment is relative to the intended learning outcomes (see above) and the grades are given using the Danish 7-step grade scale. At the end of the course, there will be a mandatory group presentation.
