I'm associate professor and head of the Efficient Computation group at the IT University of Copenhagen, Denmark. I received my PhD in 2002 from BRICS at the Department of Computer Science, Aarhus University, supervised by Peter Bro Miltersen. My scientific interests are within algorithms and data structures, in particular basic questions in information retrieval and the role of randomness in computing. Lately I have worked on several problems with applications in relational DBMSs and data mining, as well as the exploitation of small-scale parallelism in modern computer architectures. In future work, I intend to take an algoneering approach.
