The Storage layer consists of the classes in package edu.it.xmlstore.storage, and is responsible for storing values locally. The interface Disk and its derived classes MultiFileDisk and RAFileDisk store values permanently on disk. The Disk interface simply maps value references to values - the client has no influence on how the files are stored or where.
