Journal version of paper with Björklund and Koivisto

I’m happy to announce that Andreas Björklund, Mikko Koivisto, and myself have merged our contributions to the IEEE Foundations of Computer Science conference (FOCS) 2006 into what I consider a very, very nice journal paper. The result was invited and accepted to the SIAM Journal on Computing special issue for FOCS, which of course makes us extra proud.

The two original conference papers that appeared at FOCS had very different styles, and basically we had to rewrite most of it from scratch. But it turned out that the final, merged version is at least as good and consitent as any of them. You can check out the final submission among my on-line papers.
