Plans for late Spring 2007
In June, I plan to attend STOC 2007 in San Diego, California; I will stay from Sunday to Sunday, 10th to the 17th.
I am also honoured to participate as a committee member in a number of Ph.D. defences in the next few months. Topics include overloading web servers, exact satisfiability, and graph theory. Lovely stuff.
- Magnus Wahlström defends his thesis Algorithms, Measures, and Upper Bounds for Satisfiability and Related Problems in Computer Science at Linköping University on Friday, April 27.
- Mikael Andersson defends his thesis Overload Control and Performance Evaluation of Web Servers in Electrical and Information Technology at Lund University on Friday, May 11.
- Olof Barr defends his thesis Discrete Methods used in Graph Theory and Linear Programming at the Maths department in Lund on Friday, June 1.
On June 6 I will give a general audience talk (an algorithmic perspective on phylogenetics) in Lund’s Botanical Gardens in connection with the Linné celebrations on that day.
