2017 – 2020 Practicing Integrity

From January 2017, I will be collaborating Sue Wright, Lise Degn, Jakob W. Ørberg and Laura Louise Sarauw, colleagues at the Danish School of Education, Aarhus University, on a project about the integration of the concept of ‘integrity’ into Danish research practice and researcher identities.

This research, funded by the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science under a special call, will occur under the newly formed Centre for Higher Education Futures (CHEF) and with colleagues whose UNIKE project closing conference I drew last summer. The project is described on the CHEF website here.

I am looking forward to my role in one of the subprojects of this new study, as it extends my curiosity about the governance of research through ethics into the domain of the formation of integrity subjectivities, a topic I have addressed in previous publications, and also into the organisational and institutional frames that create new norms for researchers.
